Mandy L. Kendall is a Western Pennsylvania-based photographer, educator, and artist, who works in a number of photographic techniques, from historical processes to new digital technologies.  Her current bodies of work focus on the emotional remnants of lost relationships (“Better Days are Behind You”) and our ever-evolving relationship with and impact on the landscape (“Sacrificial Fire”).  Kendall holds a certificate in photography from Pittsburgh Filmmakers, and has studied alternative photographic processes at Peters Valley Craft Center and the f295 Symposium. She is an adjunct professor of photography at Pittsburgh Filmmakers, teaching artist with PFM Youth Media and Silver Eye Center for Photography, and teaching assistant with the f295 Symposium. She is a founding member of the Pittsburgh photography collective, AgWorks. Her work has has been exhibited both regionally and nationally and is held in many private collections.
